Landscape and Garden Design
Anglo - French
Two of my favourite clients, one British and one French, asked for a garden to satisfy both of their favoured styles. While very English in parts, with box hedging, abundant perennials, roses and a wildflower meadow, the garden also included French-style lavender walks, pretty wirework arches and gazebo and a formal pond with a small fountain. A newly planted hornbeam hedge will soon define the boundary between this formal garden and the adjacent paddock, which has been planted as a small arboretum.
