Radishes and Roses
This cottage garden was transformed from a worn lawn (without a single flower to be seen!) into a riot of colourful plants within a framework of evergreen box. A small but pretty vegetable garden has raised beds and beehive compost bins. The shady rear courtyard provides a peaceful space to relax, with a formal pond and quirky water feature. Beyond this is a mini orchard, with chickens, wildflowers, an insect hotel and a recently built cleft oak fence, smothered with espalier fruit and sweet peas.
