Briefing & site survey
Once the fee proposal is accepted an in-depth briefing takes place with the client, covering all practical and aesthetic aspects of the garden, including materials, style, likes and dislikes, use of space and budget. Listening to your ideas and preferences is a priority.
It is always useful if a wish list is produced by you prior to the meeting and magazine photos or internet images of gardens/features can be invaluable discussion points.
If the site is relatively simple a scaled survey may be done at this visit and I will photograph the garden and do a site analysis. If large or complex, a professional survey will be needed and a price provided.
