Arbours and Arches

The client’s brief was for a classic, English country garden with paths leading on a journey around the garden, romantic arches to frame views and a pond that would be safe for visiting grandchildren. The garden was designed so that the majority of the garden could be accessed on paving. Metal arches and a pergola were planted with scented climbers and a circular pond with a child-safe grid was added. A pretty arbour with a lead roof was positioned to give views down the garden and provides a focal point from the pergola.
